Kaleidoscope does Weddings
Kaleidoscope was asked if it was possible to provide fish bowls as centre pieces for a wedding.
At first we were a bit sceptical as Kaleidoscope does not promote the keeping of fish in bowls unless they are large enough and have filtration. However, with a bit of thought and with the fish’s welfare the top priority, we set about the task of putting together the dreams of our couple.
The main task was to keep the fish safe so bowls were selected with internal vases to keep the inevitable flying vol au vent from spoiling the fish’s diet. Then we negotiated with the hotel so that the pre prepared bowls complete with gravel and aged water could be dropped off the night before the wedding breakfast.
The fishy friends were added to their bowls the next morning before the guests arrived where they wowed them with their fishy exploits providing a great ice breaker and a nice point of difference for our couple's special day.
Early the next morning, we collected them from their bowls and restored them to their own comfortable tanks for a well eared rest and a special treat of frozen blood worms. YUMMY!!
